Jeff served 15 years in law enforcement between Commerce Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff's Department, serving as a School Resource Officer for 12 of those years, worked in the hospital setting for 5 years prior to law enforcement.  He started out as a transporter for the Coroner's office until he was appointed deputy coroner in 2016.  Jeff is a life long resident of Jackson County, graduating from Commerce High School in 2001.  He graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services in Houston, TX with his mortuary degree in 2016.  He has been employed by Little-Ward Funeral Home since 2013.  He is a past member of the Commerce Housing Authority Executive Board, former Vice President of the Commerce Kiwanis Club Club and former regional director for the Georgia Alliance of School resource Officers and Educators.  Jeff loves to support and serve his community.

Jeff is married to Abby Minish Rogers who is a teacher for East Jackson Elementary School and they have a son, Harrison and a daughter, Harper.
